We don’t know how it is that Christ or anybody else can rise from the dead. But our ignorance doesn’t mean it didn’t happen. The meaning of the resurrection is simple: our sins are forgiven, and we have hope for eternal life. Out with the old, in with the new. But we still suffer loss, grief, evil in this life as we are transformed by faith in the next. Paul calls us to stand firm on the resurrection, by living out our lives in love and good works. 1 Corinthians 15: 35-58.
