TLC4Kids is ‘The Learning Centre for Kids’, and it’s the place where our children learn about growing up into the character of God. It all takes place on Sunday mornings during the two worship services. If you’re used to looking for Sunday School or Children’s Church for your kids, TLC4Kids is EBC’s version.

TLC4Kids at 9:30

We find that our largest group of young children appear during the first worship hour on Sunday—that is, during the 9:30 Family Worship service. Children join in the first part of the worship service, which includes bringing our gifts and offerings, singing active and kid-friendly songs of praise, and hearing from Felix the puppet and his many friends. Then, children through grade 5 leave the sanctuary to continue with TLC4Kids:

• Preschool—learning about God’s love and our place in the wide world through Bible stories, songs and creative activities. Meets in the Preschool Room.
• Kindergarten – Grade 5—a dynamic large group/small group program designed to help our children grow in wisdom, faith and friendship according to the model of Jesus in Luke 2:52. The three basic truths we concentrate on are:

1. I need to make the wise choice.
2. I can trust God no matter what.
3. I should treat others the way I want to be treated.

K-5 TLC4Kids Meets upstairs in the Kids Centre.

TLC4Kids at 11:00

A smaller, more intimate group of children attend the 11:00 Worship service with their families, and we strive to involve them fully in worship and growth as children of God and followers of Jesus. Children join in the first part of the worship service with the larger church family, including songs and prayers and the offering. Then children through Grade 5 are invited to gather and continue their worship and learning in the Learning Centre. Because of the smaller size of this group of children, TLC4Kids takes on the nature of a group of brothers and sisters, learning together how to grow in wisdom, faith and friendship according to the model of Jesus in Luke 2:52. Meets in the Preschool Room.
