Peter, arguably Jesus’ best friend, was radically changed by witnessing the Glory of God come through Jesus at the TRANSFIGURATION event. Peter saw that people don’t die, only their bodies do. For Moses and Elijah are alive and Jesus is too, even after they all passed through death. We live now in a temporary physical state, but our departure will take us to the same Glory with Christ.
